The artist / Conor Middleton

From rooftops
to works of art.

Historic copper and slate roofs taught Conor Middleton to see metal as both structure and surface. His artwork carries that knowledge into a more personal exploration of form.

Working in Western North Carolina, he combines geometric precision, sculptural texture, and individually developed chemical patinas.

The character of copper

One material.
Endless expression.

Polished warmth. Deep verdigris. A surface that shifts with the light. Cutting, forming, texturing, and chemical patination give each composition its own language.
